once i build a bomb tower and fire tower i think they fired. I for instance went through 2 waves with my useless crossbows before i even noticed most weren't firing. but these monsters pop up all over the place and my field of view is so small i have no idea how my base is faring. as well as a little bigger safe area? tower defense games are all about building an op monster killing death grinder. towers need indicators showing their firing arc/range, i assumed the crossbows would turn to track enemies, but they don't, and that was unclear, built 5 useless ones.ĥ. was unclear that i had another page of items, couldn't find the crossbows for ages (why put the stuff you can build first on the second page?)Ĥ. its annoying for instance to have to eat 5 steaks to get to full hp, i HAVE 45 meat, but have to sit at the fire hitting craft, steak, meat, eat over and over to actually get back to full hp. the crafting system is cumbersome, its tough to navigate and repetitive. maybe arrows pointing to off screen threats would be good too.ģ. really need to be able to zoom out a bit, monsters can spawn wherever and it can be tough to find em. Without the little safety Crystal a "base" is pointless, the controls are awkward its easy to bust your own stuff accidentally getting you stuck.Ģ. Right now it misses the mark on pretty much every game element, i get that its early access and a demo, but its also your only chance at a first impression.ġ. but boy does this feel like its a long way from being a game.
